I am getting ready to paint the exterior of my house. I am thinking of buying a Wagner Paint Crew sprayer to use. The new version comes with 1/2hp motor and 35 ft of hose.
My question is, will the paint crew be adequate for my needs or will it be more work than its worth?
Also, does anyone have an opinion on Pittsburgh or Iowa paint? Local BJ dealer sales the Pittsburgh and alot of local contractors us Iowa.
Any help or advice is much appreicated.
Thanks

Sorry, never used the wagner you describe. I have used Pittsburgh paint before, though never exterior, but I liked it performance.

The paint crew would work well for you. But... consider this: the gun is good quality and rebuildable, the paint pump is a piston pump which is good but as far as I know not rebuildable. The packings are rated at 30-60 hours of use I believe. Gleempaint.com is a good place to go to see a review of this and search parts. I like a 50' hose to reach 2nd storey and you may make it with 35' if you move it as close as possible to the area being painted. lol jeff
