I have an alignment problem with my exterior storm door.
The door is very new, not more than 2-3 years old, but has gone out of alignment. Even though the door locks by itself (latches on), the bottom half of the door doesn't stick to the door frame, due to which there is a strong leak during winter. I have checked and verified that the door is perfectly straight. How do I best fix the alignment problem for the perfect seal?

It may not be the door itself...but rather the frame.
The door might be straight on the hinge side, but off at the latch..even tho the magnet makes contact and catches the door.
Since it isnt making contact at the bottom of the door, my guess is the frame is out of synch at the bottom. Settlement of the house or a shift in the door frame itself may be the cause. Have you checked to see that the latch side is plumb?
Thats my guess...Just my $.02
