I am planning to lay laminate flooring in my bedrooms. I need to raise the existing concrete floor (very dry and level!) 1/2 inch and plan to use plywood. Should I fix the plywood to the concrete or not?. If so should I use glue, nails, screws or other and do I need to leave an expansion gap if the plywood is fixed (and thus I presume not able to expand!!!)
