I just overhauled(exaggeration) a small garden directly outside of a bay window, and get a bird bath to place out there. Does anybody know if there is a problem with placing a bird bath close to the house? I plan on placing it within 1 foot of the house.

As long as onlookers from inside the glass don't disturb the birds (and you don't mind cleaning the outside of the glass often from the birds splashing), I can't see a problem.

What sort of problems were you worried about?

Thanks, I was just slightly concerned about damage to the siding of the house.
