We were given a slide for our pool. I believe it is fiberglass, but it has been painted and the paint is flaking off. What type of paint should I apply after I have sanded the slide?

I would use a polyurethane marine paint. There are several makers of this type paint, but most are local. Check with your local paintstore for availability and prep/primer instructions.
