Can anyone tell me what goes into chair cushions that I need to make to fit my wicker patio dining chairs? It looks like using foam will be too squarish and blocky but loose stuffing might get all bunched up. What is a good looking stuffing to use?

i think it's foam wrapped with batting. however, you could just go with the foam and round over the sharp corners by cutting with scissors (or an electric knife).

Annette,

For a wicker chair cushion will depend on what you want you can have a hard denity of cushion and it will not be mushy, and it can be 3'' thick to 5'' depending on how you want it to look. Or use a softer cushion. they do not bottom out unless you our useing the wrong denity. You might be using foam that is for inside arm wrap before uph.

But anytime you use foam they need to be wrap it gives a smoother look.

also if your not an upholster you can go to fabric store there a new polywrap, that is like foam and you can use it.instead of foam.

but i perfer foam my self person preference

well this might be late and im sure you have finish the chair please reply and let everyong know how you did it and how you like it.
