How do I tie down the laminate floor transition pieces on bare concrete? I have one door where laminate floor will meet vinyl on concrete. I have one wide opening where laminate floor will meet carpet on concrete. I have been told "Nails" glue is all I need to hold down the transition pieces. I have also been told the best system is to drill small holes in the concrete and use concrete screws to be sure that the transition piece stays in place. Anybody have any experience with either of these systems? Thanks

When I put down my click-laminate floor, I realized most companies don't offer a solution. 3 years later, my solution is still working. While I don't visit "Home Depot" often, that's where I found my answer. Most transtion peices (are male) and can fit into a "U" shaped plastic track. I used "gorilla glue" to hold the track to the concrete then fit the transition into the track.
Use a modest level of gorilla glue and put a weight on the track while it sets.
Good luck.
