I am installing 1X4 Tongue and Groove flooring boards on a Wrap Around Porch. The boards are going to be installed perpendicular to the side of the house. My question involves the miter seam at the point where the porch makes a right angle turn. I would like the boards to not only have a tight miter joint but to also have the width of each board on one leg of the porch match the width of the adjacent board on the other leg of the porch.

As long as you start at the same place -- along the house -- on all of the sides, and use the same material, and have 45 degree miters, all of the joints will come out just like you want them to -- matched.
