putting in a 4 foot deep (2 above 2 below) concrete pond inside a old cow barn that i am remodling that will be heated and cooled.

on one side of pond is a pre-existing 4" slab on grade on other side will be newly poured 4" slab on grade once concrete for pond gets put in.

clay soil

planing on doing 3 pours of concrete, 1 bottom of pond, 2 walls of pond, 3 slab on grade

planed on 10" thick bottom for pond and 6" walls for pond.

first question....
how thick of fill sand to put under pond for drainage? it will have 4" pvc running through it for bottom drains in the pond.

second question....
what size rebar for pond? 5/8 with 12" on centers (wall and bottom)
