Hi,

Which tile is easier to maintain and looks nicer in a bathroom, Ceramic 13 X 13 Tile or Travertine Tile??

Thanks,

You can get a long life out of a properly maintained travertine floor 15 years or better without loosing the shine as long as you use only specified cleaners for the travertine go to stonecare .com and you can find what you need to take care of the stone there. Now tile or porcelain will be alot less to care for for and last a little longer providing it was installed properly and you can clean that stuff with just about anything that is not abrasive ,unlike the travertine you have to use specified cleaners and nothing acidic in nature.

Both floors if done properly will last a long time and you will get years of enjoyment from both,i like the travertine, but you're talking to a tile and marble guy so i like the earthy look and the asthetic value of the travertine
