After doing all my net research and figuring I was capable of handling tiling my bathroom floor myself, I came to find out that the tiles I had bought (and cut already to fit the floor) were, in fact, wall tiles. The Home Depot guy didn't like the idea of me using them on the floor, but couldn't give me any real reasons why. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is using wall tile on the floor a huge no-no?

Well, it's a matter of design. CAN you use wall tiles? I'd say sure. SHOULD you use them? No.
Floor tiles are stronger, period. They are designed to have weight and stress put on them. Wall tiles simply aren't built for that purpose, and aren't as strong.
A true expert could explain it better, I'm sure, but I wouldn't use them. I know you don't want to throw away the money, but it's better to eat it now that to lay down tile that will crack and break in the future, meaning you'll not only eat the cost eventually, but add more work to it in the process.
