I have a concrete stairway (approximately 15 steps) that divides a concrete retaining wall and the foundation of my house. My problem is that the concrete retaining wall has given in to the land in my back yard during the course of time and is protruding into the stairway. My new homeowners insurance company has flagged this problem as a liability and would like it fixed prior to inking my new insurance policy.
Since this seems like a job for the professional, where do I start? What type of contractor would I need to do this kind of work?
Any suggestions?

I would imagine a foundation contractor or excavation contractor.
