I have a ceramic floor in my kitchen that needs to be removed. We have already taken up part of it and have found that there is an underlay of steel wire mesh and then board. The way we removed the first section was not only time consuming, but it was back breaking. All we could do was breakup the tile into little pieces then use a crowbar to inch away the wire mesh. It took a very long time to pull up approx 5 x 7 ft and we have a lot more to go. There has got to be a better way to remove it other than what we have done so far. ANY tips, help with tools we could use or other types of information that would help us, would be profoundly appreciated.
Thank you!
Thank you!

gauze ,bandaids, alcahol, gloves, alcahol, saftey glasses, did i say alcahol? No , the only way to do this is like you are right now. This stuff, as you have found out was put there to stay, blood ,sweat and tears is the only way to get this stuff out.You could try getting under the wire mesh with a crow bar and see if that will help loosen everything up
