I recently had nail polish get on my couch. Ouch- bone colored couch with red polish is a painful combination. Before I consider nail polish remover...any suggestions for this stain removal?

Use non-acetone nail polish remover. Blot with white rag from outside stain toward the middle. Change rags as needed. Keep blotting until polish is removed entirely. You will be left with an oily stain because non-acetone remover is made from banana oil. Oily stain should blotted from outside toward the middle with white rag and solvent cleaner like dry cleaning fluid or denatured alcohol. Always check DIY remedies in inconspicuous place first for ill effects before proceeding. If in doubt, contact a professional upholstery cleaner.

I would try freezing with ice and chipping with dull knife.
If that doesn't work call dry cleaners and maybe they can help.
after all they deal with stains such as this.
