Currently have a small wood porch/entranceway, 5 feet off ground. Need to replace and would like to build a block with brick facing entranceway on concrete footers. Want to shape it and steps leading up like a pie slice. Can you point me to a reference book on how to achieve this shape? Contractors want to charge about 6K ... I'd just as soon do it myself and keep the big bucks.
