Hi - I have an entertainment center that is finished with black paint. It's opaque, but you can still see the wood grain. It is new and was intentionally distressed by hitting a lot of the edges with sandpaper. I think it's a little extreme and I'm looking for suggestions on how to stain those edges black so that they don't stand out so much. I tried a permanent marker, but it doesn't build up enough to make it opaque. Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

The most uniform solution will be a fresh coat of black paint.
