i have a dvd player, xbox, and camcorder that all connect to the same terminal in my TV. (pardon my ignorance here, I don't know what this type of connection is called, but its the "yellow" wire).

the problem is that these terminals are in the back of my TV, and I don't want to have to slide the TV out in my entertainment center everytime I want to use a different console.

is there some kind of switch or port that would allow me to plug in all the similar cables and switch from console to console?

if not, are there any other products that may solve my problem.

thanks!!

What you're looking for is just a basic video switcher. Looks like <a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=cat08063&navHistory=cat00001%2Bcat08000%2Bcat08051%2Bcat08060&type=category&navLevel=5">Best Buy</a> has a few of them.

I'm sure you can get them at Radio Shack too. I think I bought mine at Wal-Mart, but something happened to it about 6 months later.

Good luck!

You need this (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=15-1978)

You can also find these that are remote controllable for more like $70.

The yellow cable is an RCA cable. You'll need one of those for each thing you want to connect to the tv.

You could get three of these (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=42-2367)

Or one of these (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=15-1537) and pull the 3 cables apart.

Don't let the RS guy try to sell you on gold plated cables.
