what would cause a fridge to run continuously....freezing the food contents?

Several factors can cause a frig to run continuously.
Door slightly ajar.
Door gaskets seals in poor condition.
Low refrigerant
Dusty cooling coils.
Dusty cooling coil fan.
Door opening to frequently
Defective timer and or temperature selector.
Need more detailed and specific info. Use reply button to add additional info.
