My glass on my storm door was hit by a rock as I was mowing. It is shattered in millions of peices and you can hear it cracling but not yet fallen out of the door frame. Any suggestions?

It's tempered glass. You need to replace it with tempered glass. Choices are to replace the glass, or replace the door. I don't know which will be cheaper! Take measurements of the glass and get estimates, and then find out how much a new door will cost. Whichever is less is what you'll be doing.

But DO NOT replace the glass with standard single or double strength glass. You are looking at the reason why tempered glass was put in that door -- DO YOU SEE ANY BLOOD????

You're out $100, maybe $150 or even $200 for new tempered glass or a new door. Or several THOUSAND for stitches if you use plain glass. (MORE if it's a neighbor's kid you are stitching up!!)

Thanks for your reply, I put down plastic, used safety glasses and knocked out the shattered glass. It still had not fallen out even after a very windy day & evening.

After getting the frame out I could get to the model # and will order the replacement glass. Not sure how much yet. Thanks again.
