The bottom of my wooden door with fiberboard covering is starting to get soft because it was never painted. Its not rotten yet.

Which paint will seal this area so water cant wick up into the door & ruin it? A epoxy paint?

Thanks

Mike

I would do 2 coats of penetrating alkyd primer, and one coat of latex semi-gloss as a finish. This should work unless its sitting in a puddle for an extended period of time.
