I'm looking to find out if there is a way to fix the silver on the back of an old mirror. Is there a way to replace the silver on the back so the mirror appears new? Or at least solid?

Tonya,
It would cost more (a LOT more) to fix the mirror than it would cost to simply replace it. If the damaged area is near the edge, you can cut it off, making the mirror smaller. If a smaller mirror won't work for you, buy a new one.
