Hi everyone!
Our fridge started leaking water awhile back and piling up with ice in the back of it, around the fan area. I knocked the ice of and the fridge seemed to be running fine. But now the fan seems to have stopped, well, there's still noise coming from the fridge and the freezer fan is blowing out cold air but the one in the fridge part doesn't seem to (y'know where the wents are).
Not sure what to do...

Hi,
I am assuming this is a frost free model that is now getting iced up on back wall of the freezer.
That indicates a defrost problem.
wether it is a defective heater, defost timer, or terminating thermostat.
some models have the defrost timer behind the kickplate at the bottom front of the frig, also could be inside behind the light lens cover and then could be in the rear of the frig behind the cardboard panel on the right side .
you can manually rotate the defrost timer till it clicks it should then go into a defrost mode. after 30 - 45 minutes it should click back out of defrost. while in defrost the heater(s) SHOULD BE ON.
you can also ohm out the heaters with the unit unpluged and you can also check the terminating stat.
If that sounds like something you can do we can try and help you.
