In preparation for a good size sheetrock taping job in my basement, is there any differance between the "premix" joint compounds and the type that you have to mix with water? I have always used the "premix" type but dont know if I should consider the other type.
Any information will be a great help!

check out the question posted by 'stew' called tapeing. It's just a few down the list. look towards the bottom. Someone asks the same question. Hopefully it will help you. let us know.
