We have unfinished Pella windows (both double-hung and casement) and want to seal and protect the wood with some type of finish that does not look glossy or varnishy. The objective is just to be able to wipe off fingerprints and slow down the wood deterioration, not create some kind of rock-hard shell finish. Is this possible? Is there anything that could be applied with a rag as opposed to a brush?
