I have been smelling a strange odor in my Kitchen for about a week now. I think it might be coming from the Frig. It is a sort of sweet, but nauseating odor. Not a pleasant smell. Does a refrigerator have something in it that might leak and cause this smell? What about the stove? It is not coming from inside the frig, and I've cleaned out the frig.....
It is really hard to pin point where it is coming from. But it is definately a strange odor.

Hello: BGarrow. Welcome to the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
The usage of any petroleum based products lately? Oil based paints, stains, polishes, adhesives or cleaning solvents? If so, the odor may be from any of them. Common condition. Not hazardous.
Stove being gas and or electric will cause the condition if the above applies. Gas stove? Check pilots.
This description you made "It is a sort of sweet, but nauseating odor" is a cause for concern and maybe alarm. That odor could be aldyhides, a form of carbon monoxide produced by any gas appliance in the house.
Gas furnace? Gas water heater? Any gas type used as a fuel when not burned fully and or correctly will produce CO. Which is often described exactly as you described it.
Professional help is need asap, if there are any gas appliances in the house and no petro based chemicals or products used recently. Contact the gas supplier for additional help. CO is a killer and it may be there.
