I was putting primer on the new knockdown ceiling in the half-bath. I looked up and thought, you know, this primer looks an awful lot like ceiling paint: they're both flat white. So I painted another layer of primer on the ceiling north-south, 180 from the first east-west coat. And the more beer I drank the better it looked. Even today at lunch (sober) it didn't look too bad.
So I ask: What is the difference between paint and primer? How would a coat of Ceiling Paint benefit?
In other words, um, am I done?

Not much difference, but the ceiling paint will hide more defects, and is slightly more cleanable than primer. Buy another 6-pack and give it a coat of ceiling white.:D
