Planning on painting my ceiling a standard white. I'm also painting the wood trim and doors in the house white.
Can I use the same paint from the ceiling to paint my trim and doors or do I require a specific paint? Thanx

You could but I woud'nt. On the ceilings use a ceiling white or extra white paint. Usually its cheaper. Flat finish is what you want. Look for a good name brand that states ceiling paint on the label. For the trim try a semi-gloss white. In either oil or latex enamel. I use SW pro-classic alklyd orwaterbourne acrylic. You want something very durable for the trim and ceiling paint doesnt work for that. Use this for the doors as well although you could use a satin on the doors if you prefer.
