In preparing my new landscape beds, I am digging up a large amount of dirt, grass and some weeds. I have been collecting the debris in large trash bags, but I was wondering if this could be used to make new compost somehow. I do not own a compost drum, and I want to make sure that I am not reseeding the weeds I just pulled up. Could you include information on how to create my own compost?
thanks,
Mduncan

Hi mduncan

I got these links from our Useful Garden Links just above your post. We have put together a vast amount of links so we don't have to do a search for every question we have.
We make 3 piles and turn them every other day only adding new to the first pile, then as the 3rd pile is being used the 1st pile becomes the second. Did you get all that? Good :) My heads still spinning LOL.
