Whats the best way to clean out the nap on a roller? I rinse my rollers with water but it seems like the paint is still in there.
Thanks for the feed back!

If you're going to use the roller again in the near future, put it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer. It will stay usable for days. If you're finished with your painting chores for a while, toss the old roller. They don't cost enough to try to save.
For me, tossing the roller is something of a celebration since it means that I'm done painting - one of my favorite chores, y'know :D

Spin it out with a hose, or just chuck it.
The customer should have covered the cost for this anyways.

Thanks for the feedback! I was actually thinking about tossing them also.
Prowallguy-
I just finished my first job on Saturday! A co-worker needed her bathroom repaired and paitned. It was tough work but me and my partner got it done. We sanded, washed it with TSP, primed it and painted. She was really pleased. She even gave us $25 more! We have a few more jobs lined up for the near future. This little business is growing slowly but surely!

How about those roller spinners? I just asked my salesguy to get me one and he didn't seem too big on them.
Also, he was selling me the brown Corona rollers which I found shed really bad and I always ended up with hairs sticking out of the paint.
Then he recommended the white Corona rollers which are supposedly made for glossy paints, and the shedding is totally gone.

Roller spinners promise more than they deliver. The only roller covers I clean are Purdy white doves the rest I junk

I always clean my 100% shearlings and 50/50 lambswool too.
