I have a nice veneer coffee table that got it's finish damaged by nail polish remover. The nail polish remover disolved the finish and dried in a pattern that shows the rubbing marks and is a bit opaque.
I've been told to use 000 steel wool to buff it out. But don't I need to reapply another finish coat? Can anyone give me some advice?
Regards,
Paul
