Hello
We had 4-6 inches of water in areas of our basement due to a lot of rain on frozen ground ina short period of time.
The Pergo floors are looking good, except for the threshold between the pergo and the kitchen tile which as popped up.
My questions: Does the pergo have to be replaced? Can we pull it up, replace the "pad" underneath and re-install the same pergo?
If we continue to get ocassional water in the basement is there a better option than laminate flooring? This is a basement rental apartment. We want nice, but durable.
Cost is not as much as an issue as protecting our investment.
Thank you!
Amy

Sounds like laminate in this application is NOT a good option.
It will be a lot of wook to replace the Pergo but if you don't take up the existing floor and dry the sub floor and the Pergo completly you will have serious problems.
