I have to replace the drywall on two outside walls of kids old bedroom. I have stripped the old off, and am going to seal any openings that the track home builder didn't do twenty five years ago. I currently have 3 1/2 inch batts in the walls, with 1" blu styrafoam board on the outside and T-111 over it. My question is, can I add 1" styrafoam blue board or something else rigid to the inside before I put new drywall back on. I will slice the old vapor barrier (brown paper attached to the batts) and put up a new plastic sheeting if this is best.
Thanks,

Sounds good to me.I take it you will use the foam in a can to fill any and all holes and around the windows. There are other boards you can use here inside under the drywall you might look at for a higher R value some are polystyrene.;) ED
