Have wallpaper in a bathroom that has a design on it and is textured(I hate it!!!!) Would like to get rid of it if it is possible but believe the wallpaper was attached to the drywall(house is 20 years old) What can I do??????? Want to make it a smooth surface and paint. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Try to remove the paper using the removal instructions, posted HERE (http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=116896#4) .

Then you can prime it and paint it.
