Upon pulling up my carpet in prep for installing my hardwood, I came across a small "dent" in the plywood. It does not go all the way through, maybe a 1/4 inch deep, 1 inch around. Does anyone have a recommendation on how I should go about filling this hole, or what you are supposed to do in a situation like this? Thanks.

I wouldn't even worry about a small dent like that but you can use wood putty.

Probably whrere a knot came out in one of the interior plys. You can ignore it.
