I could swear I have heard or read somewhere that rubber backed rugs are not good for laminate flooring. Could anyone please confirm or deny this? I just had Mohawk Seneca Cherry Plank floors installed and need to put good rugs in front of the entry ways. Thanks

lam floors do not stain, or fade. Go for it. It is vinyl where you need to be concerned.

Several manufactures warn against the use of rubber backed rugs on a laminate floor.

Really? hmmm, ok. I wonder why? discoloration?
that would be kinda funny, you can set a lit cigar on the lam and it will not affect it, but watch out for those rubber rugs! :)
