I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of Dream Home Utopia laminate flooring? It is 6mm thick and only has a ten year warranty. I know there is better stuff out there, but at $.99 a square foot it seems very economical. I will not be living in this home for more than 10 years (probably not even 5) and need a cheap alternative to my trashed berber carpeting. Looking for some good advice

I'm not positive but it may just be the flooring they used in the HGTV Dream Home give-a-way.

If you think you can be an awesome consumer, and really take care of the floor, then your only other obsticle will be the milling on the material.

I cannot imagin "Utopia" in the true sense of the word at $.99 nor 6MM. As for selling your house, pay for a floor now or pay for it at the time of sale.
