Hello. I have recently redid my living room with a popcorn texture finish I now would like to border the whole room at about eye level. for this i have prepaired a 7 inch wide strip around the room for the border using joint compound I have also primed that strip with a bonding primer. Once i have the border on i would like to seal it with something clear so that the kids will not be able to pick at it. What can i clear coat it with. I really dont care if what i want makes the border hard to remove because i dont plan on doing this again Is there something i can put over it. I was thinking of clear satin polyureothane.
