Very seroiusly considering the purchase of MAXX brand bath tub and angle shower in acrylic. Anybody have any comments as far as quality of MAXX products is concerned?

Thank-you

Yes. I have used them only once, and the customer was satisfied with the construction and quality of the unit.

I assume "acrylic" is fiberglass.

I have a Maxx tub/shower enclosure from Home Depot. I would do it again.

I would be more careful jostling it around to avoid the nicks at the bottom of the tub exterior. Get all the help you can to move it to checkout and to the vehicle. Make it clear they need to pick it up, not drag it around. Inspect it before you consider purchasing that exact one.

I would ensure the bathroom walls were a bit more square and parallel.

I would do a better job of bedding the tub in "cement" or plaster (I used mortar). That bedding reduces the tub bottom flexing. This is covered in the enclosed instructions.
