 I need to replace the cartridge in the shower faucet. It is a Price Phister, and the screw that holds the shower handle on has corroded and there is no head on the screw. How do I remove this screw so that I can remove the handle and get at the clip that holds the cartridge in so I can replace the cartridge?

A. You may be able drill it out with a small drill bit.
B. You might be able to tap it around counter-clockwise with a small sharp chisel to get it started enough to grip with needle-nose pliers.
C. You may be able to crush a plastic handle if that's what it has, with channel-lock pliers, and unscrew it with pliers.
Good Luck!

You can also pick up a stripped screw remover set from Sears depending on the size of the screw. If it's the screw I'm thinking of, it should be big enough for the small remover will work.
