My wife and I are redoing the 1/2 bath and do not want the plain white or beige walls. We are going with a white ceramic tile with hints of beige (kind of a marble look) floor with Kohler's Memoirs collection pedestal sink and toilet.
While at Lowes yesterday, we noticed a product that looked pretty cool. It is called Paper Illusion, and basically it is a pre-fauxed wallpaper that you rip off the roll, dip in water, and apply. No seems, nothing. Now this seems all too good to be true, as I hate wallpaper.
I know some people will say to attempt to learn how to faux or color wash, and it may still be an option. I was just wondering if anyone else tried this stuff.
Here is a link to their webpage which contains a video on how to install it.
Thx

I've never hung the stuff myself, but many members of the paperhangers guild have said a lot of good things about it.
I'd say go for it.
I must admit I'm a little worried about dipping in water to paste them, especially for a bathroom.

Hello - my sister did this in her dining room, and it looks GREAT. Her 5 year old daughter helped her... that's how easy it is. My only concern would be the removal of the paper down the road, but I've heard it's just as easy. Good luck.
