I am redoing my bathroom and have decided to reglaze the tub as replacing it is not an option right now. Can anyone tell me how to correctly reglaze or repaint the tub so that the paint does not peel off when the tub is used? I have seen tubs that have been repainted and as soon as the tub is used, the paint bubbles and peels.
Thanks.

If the tub is cast iron or steel with a porcelin finish Id go to the yellow pages. and call someone who does this for a living. If it is fiberglass you can paint it yourself. Most home centers carry paint for this project. Be sure to follow the manufacturers instructions. Remember that the finished product will only be as good as the prep work you do. Make sure you also use a fish eye reducer and sand real, real well. The paint wont stick if you dont sand real good.
