I'm back in regard to a window problem that I posted about previously in regard to some new construction windows that I purchased, (special order), from a home improvement store.

They are dbl-hung, wood interior. After installing the windows, I realized that none of them have a groove nor any way in which I can raise or lower them other than pushing up and against the glass on the top rail of the lower sash or the bottom rail of the upper sash. There isn't room to install a handle; there is less than 1/2" of the frame at the bottom sash showing when the window is closed. I am concerned that there might be future problems with the windows in regard to the glass and wood separating due to the stress when opening and closing the windows.

Have any of you seen windows as I'm describing?

I'm not getting a satisfactory response from the manufacturer.

Thanks for your comments.
