My outside foundation wall has a huge hole in it where the previous owner didn't build right, how can I fix it.

Can you be more specific about the type of foundation: concrete, concrete block, brick, stone, all wood, other, and the location and size of the hole. It's not necessary to always use the correct lingo, because there are many posters who understand general description and have done guesswork before, but a large hole doesn't convey to the reader what you see.
