Our upstairs shower pipes were not correctly glued when the house was built and over a period of 2 yrs it started leaking in the living room ceiling until we had to cut a square of ceiling out fix the pipe, our problem is the ceiling is textured and has glitter in it how can I repair it and will I need to repaint the whole ceiling and can the glitter be painted over? Also what would I use to get the plaster to adhere too?
