hi there,

we just had a white tile floor (daltile tile) installed in our kitchen and the very next day our appliance installer came out and SCRATCHED our floor while moving the oven! and then he went ahead and scratched our glazed white tile countertops with our range hood.

the scratches/marks are a gray/silver color and look like they were caused by metal surfaces rubbing against the tile - i'm hoping that they're not really SCRATCHES and are just marks that can be removed, but i've scrubbed them and they're not budging much...

any tips or tricks on getting rid of these ugly marks?

thank you!!!

Make them replace the tiles!

Or get an estimate from a tile restoration person or company.
Turn that into the appliance company, along with pictures of the damage and any receipts for your out of pocket expenses.

those are what are reffered to as metal marks that will not come out of the tile by any conventional means.Perry was correct in getting them to either refurbish the tile or getting them replaced either way the appliance people need to get the bill:cool:
