Hi,
I have a propane burner for outdoor cooking. When I remodelled the kitchen, I had a natural gas line plumb outside for future uses like an outdoor BBQ grill.
How do I connect a propane burner to natural gas pipes? Is this a DIY job and where do I buy parts if needed?
Thank you.

You can't use an appliance ported for LP on NG and vice versa. You'd first need to report the LP burner for use on NG. This mainly involves a new regulator and orifice. Then you'd need to run your line to the burner through the regulator.

To connect the burner to the gas supply pipe, use a BBQ gas approved hose. There are kits or seperate parts available for this purpose. Doing it this way would allow moveability, if needed.
