Hi Everyone, Well here I am again. Saw an article in an old magazine about a tree called hollyberry tree, said grows fast to height of about 15ft or so ,likes med. shade and etc. Now my question has anyone ever heard of this, and also I live in zone8 it did not say what zones it was for. It was a beautiful tree, also said birds love it . Just wondering if anyone had heard of it and what they think about it. Thanks Alot Texas Lady

Here is a good article from the extension service about hollies. It may give you a jumping off point. Unfortunately, hollytree is a generic term.

Hi everyone, Thank you again for your responses. Last evening I was talking to some friends about this tree. I did finf out what it is called. Its the Nellie R. Stevens Holly Tree. Said it is fast growing, birds love it. Reaching a height of about 25- 30 feet. Thats not bad. I really think I,m going to invest in one. It will be wonderful to have something the birds would enjoy all year.Plus the beautiful color. Just one more thing, 5 more weeks until spring. Hope our weather here in zone 8 holds and we can get out there, and start planting. Hope everyone has a great day. Thanks Again Texas Lady
