I am remodeling my basement to make a bedroom and office and large rec room, I am able to run vents in the ceiling no problem as well as put some vents to the floor down walls in each room,

Should I put the cold air return near the floor in the rec room and the vents in the ceiling. Is this the best way to do this or should I have the vents near the floor also since it is a cement floor and will be cold?

Run the heat runs out to about 12 " off the outside walls Use a 2 1/4"X12" register to blow down. They will be in the ceiling. If you have returns keep them low. You can get 6" take offs ,6" boots 90oX2 1/4"X12" and 6" pipe.;) ED
