Hi from Australia.

Brandon has been helping me out with a programming question. I thought I should put it into the public forum in case anyone else has a similar question.

I have a DSC PC1550 (v3.5 firmware) which I have defaulted. I have programmed her back up, except for the entry and exit delays.

The installers manual for version 4.1 of the firmware shows that under the delay programming section (17) i.e. *8<install code>17

there are 6 by 3 digit codes to program entry delay, exit delay, etc.

My version 3.5 appears to only allow 12 digits i.e. after inputting 12 digits it goes back to program mode (armed light on), rather than the 18 digits (6 by 3) that the manual describes.

The question currently outstanding is:

What do the 12 digits make up?

Brandon has advised that it is 6 by 2 digits.

I don't yet know what the 6 entries are e.g. can I assume they are the same 6 entries per the manual, only 2 digits each?
What do the 2 digits represent? minutes / seconds ?

Further detail (if you get this far ;-)

The manual currently shows:
that the first combination of digits under section 17 is Entry Delay. It is 3 digits long and the digits represent SECONDS i.e. 030 = 30 seconds

The second combination of digits is for Exit Delay, also 3 digits in seconds e.g. 120 = 2 minutes.

The third combination of digits is Bell time (I think, don't quote me) also 3 digits this time in MINUTES e.g. 004 = 4 minutes.

and so on...

I hope this clarifies the question and thank you for reading this far.

Kind Regards,
Garry
