Here is how my wifes miniature house project is coming along.

I tried to talk the wife into setting small stones in the fireplace walls.
She has put a red light inside this to make it look like real fire.
Looks cool yea?
The floor has some type of fabric to look like carpet.

Ron,
Looks like a great project. I could go either way on the stone for the fireplace, though. Looks nice the way it is. Stone might look bulky on a short wall.
